CHIEF RISK OFFICER

Andrew Sooboodoo serves as the Chief Risk Officer at InEvo Re having previously served as Chief Regulatory Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Fortitude Re and various other roles at Legal & General. Andrew has spent the majority of his career in Bermuda focusing on asset-intensive reinsurance in the US, Japan and Europe. Andrew has previously served as a Director of BILTIR, the Bermuda life reinsurance association, and has played a leading industry role on various capital and regulatory matters. Andrew is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Andrew has three wonderful daughters and sometimes enjoys supporting Manchester United.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Naren Persad serves as the Chief Financial Officer at InEvo Re. Naren has over 25 years of experience in consulting and specialised insurance roles. Prior to joining InEvo, he spent the first 18 years of his career with Tillinghast, a specialist insurance consultancy that is now part of Willis Towers Watson. More recently he has held specialised roles at Just Retirement Limited, Old Mutual Group and KPMG. Naren holds a degree from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. Naren has spent significant time working in the UK, Continental Europe, South Africa and the US. He enjoys travelling, the occasional round of golf and supporting Liverpool FC.

CHIEF ACTUARY

Ekow Eshun serves as the Chief Actuary at InEvo Re. Ekow has over 10 years of experience in the Life and annuities field.

Before joining InEvo Re, Ekow held various roles at Global Atlantic Re supporting the growth of the actuarial function, implementation of system controls and development of model framework driving EBS, US GAAP and Statutory reporting.

He has held positions at KPMG and Towers Watson supporting clients with a range of projects including valuation of global pension schemes, financial model review and risk management framework assessment.

Ekow holds a BSc.(Hons) degree in Natural Sciences from UCL, is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and Chartered Financial Analyst. In his spare time Ekow is constantly chasing goals on and off the pitch, one destination at a time.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Caroline Radford serves as the Head of Operations at InEvo Re. Caroline has 13 years experience in the insurance industry. Before joining InEvo Re Caroline served as Senior Manager at Macquarie Group, working within the Macquarie Insurance Facility (MIF). In this role Caroline worked across the portfolio of Macquarie owned and managed business as well as helping grow the expansion of MIF to third party financial sponsors. Prior to Macquarie Caroline worked at Willis Towers Watson, working across a variety of product lines. Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Manchester and ACII from the Insurance Institute in the UK.

Outside of work Caroline enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and children.

CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Luke Youlden serves as the Chief Investment Officer at InEvo Re. Luke has over 20 years of experience in financial markets and the insurance industry. Prior to joining InEvo, he held various senior board, investments and risk roles at Athora, Legal and General, PwC and Aviva. Luke holds and Economics degree and a Banking and Finance masters from Loughborough University. Luke continues to enjoy competing in and watching nearly all sports and is looking forward to his two children hopefully developing their own sporting passions.

HEAD OF ORIGINATION

Matt McPhail serves as the Head of Origination at InEvo Re. Prior to joining InEvo Re, Matt served as Vice President and Pricing Actuary for Fortitude Re as well as performing a number of consulting roles. Matt's experience has been focused on structuring, pricing, and operationalizing reinsurance and M&A type transactions across a wide range of product lines and geographies. Matt is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Matt lives in Bermuda and enjoys spending free time out in the sun or on the golf course.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Carol Lyn Langan serves as executive assistant at InEvo Re. Prior to joining InEvo Re, Carol Lyn has worked in a number of executive roles in Bermuda including Chubb, Renaissance Re and Enstar. Carol Lyn lives in Bermuda and in her spare time enjoys swimming and travelling, particularly to London to see her daughter.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Ben Murphy serves as Chief Operating Officer at InEvo Re. He is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and strategic change across financial services and insurance.  Prior to moving into financial services eight years ago, Ben worked in several strategy and operational advisory roles in the engineering, aerospace, and defense sectors covering Europe and the Middle East. Ben holds a master's degree in engineering from the University of Durham. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and the challenges of freediving and golf.

CHIEF UNDERWRITING OFFICER

Alex Brogden serves as Chief Underwriting Officer at InEvo Re. Alex has over 20 years of experience in the life insurance and reinsurance sector, with a particular specialism in in-force life transactions, spanning more than 50 deals including over $40 billion of Funded Re. Prior to joining InEvo Re, Alex held senior roles at Monument Re, Phoenix Group, Swiss Re (Reassure) and Willis Towers Watson, covering underwriting, actuarial, financial and strategic disciplines across the full lifecycle of life insurance transactions. This cross-functional background enables Alex to take a holistic approach to developing attractive and innovative solutions for clients. Outside of work, Alex keeps busy with his wife and four children, football coaching and enjoying the various activities Bermuda has on offer, such as wing surfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding and the annual Seagull race.
